As our final term winds down we have been looking towards the promise of the New Year, a new space, and new members of our community. Pages of notes are coming together to form the outline of our first term with the chosen theme of 'Farming'. Under this broad and interesting topic we plan to explore medicinal herbs, a vegetable garden, woodworking, Minecraft, homesteading practices and traditional crafts on a weekly basis, as well as horse riding, community garden and farm visits on a fortnightly basis. The term will culminate with an Agricultural Show of the children's work and a two night Farm Stay.
I can't wait to resume this journey on Thursday the 31st of January, 2019!
